JOINING
The decision to go Greek can be a difficult one, but joining a fraternity at Hopkins provides an opportunity to add to your college experience that is virtually irreplaceable. Fraternities offer exceptional opportunities for lifelong friendships and personal and professional improvement. Going Greek at Hopkins won’t close any doors for you, but it will open many.
Joining a fraternity will expand your social circle, but the social aspects alone do not define us. Involvement in Greek Life presents opportunities for leadership, service, personal growth, and comradery. In fact, the Brothers of the Alpha Chi Chapter regard our brotherhood as our most important facet. Our brothers hold our values very close: mutual assistance, the cultivation of the intellect, integrity, fidelity, and friendship.
So what are we looking for in a Beta? We are not looking for any one type of person. We look for men who share our common values and men who will contribute positively to our brotherhood. Hopkins Betas are each very different and we believe this diversity (in personality, interests, backgrounds, etc) is the strongest asset of our brotherhood.
If you are interested in learning more about Beta, ask us during Rush (calendar below), and stop by this page for more information on our membership process.
