Beta Alumni
"Once a Beta, always a Beta, everywhere a Beta!" is more than just a slogan; it confirms our commitment to lifelong brotherhood. Every Beta who benefits from an uplifting Beta experience knows we owe a debt to Beta's alumni, from the eight at Miami in 1839 right up to the newest alumnus who has just graduated in the last class here at Johns Hopkins.
We look forward to stayin in touch with all our Beta alumni, keeping them involved, "building bridges" for the Beta youth who follow. As Betas leave the campus and their years unfold as an alumnus, there are numerous ways to stay involved in the Fraternity

Staying Involved
Participate in Alumni Activities
If you live near a chapter with an active alumni group, you learn that this is an essential factor if a chapter is to enjoy success year after year. In these associations, there is a need for officers and volunteers to keep the Beta spirit alive and vibrant. Further, you can attend a local chapter homecoming, anniversary or alumni event.
Volunteer Today
Among Betas who maintain close contact with the Fraternity are those who accept volunteer roles in their local chapter. A network of advisors is a chapter resource of inestimable value. Advisors can enrich the intellectual culture of the chapter, assist with the administration of chapter affairs and help instill as sense of lifelong brotherhood. Additional volunteer roles include chapter counselors and advisors on finance, recruitment, pledge education, risk management, or ritual.
Support Our Chapter
As we seek to stay connected to our alumni, the best way you can help is by simply coming to Homecoming. We would love to see you, whether your from the class of 1949 or 2009. So come to the house and bring the whole family as well as any other Betas you may run into along the way. The more the merrier!
Magazine Fundraiser
Our chapter recently began a online magazine drive to help raise funds for brotherhood events and to start saving to eventually put a down payment on a chapter house. If you would like to start a new subscription or renew an existing one to support us, you would be helping us immensely. To reach our fundraising site, please go to http://www.magfundraising.com/axbeta. Any contribution you make would be greatly appreciated!
